Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 index concluded Sunday's trading session at 4,855.52 points, showing an increase of 5.8 points, or 0.12%, from the previous session, which closed at 4,849.71 points. According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value for the day was recorded at 20,921,057 Omani riyals, reflecting a 17.2% decrease from the prior session's trading value of 25,273,599 Omani riyals. The daily report from the Muscat Stock Exchange highlighted a marginal increase in market capitalization by 0.051%, culminating in approximately 29.42 billion Omani riyals. Non-Omani investors contributed to the market with purchases totaling 1,109,000 Omani riyals, equivalent to 5.30% of the overall trading volume. However, their sales amounted to 1,824,000 Omani riyals, accounting for 8.72% of the total. Consequently, the net foreign investment saw a reduction of 715,000 Omani riyals, or 3.42%.
