Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed higher on Wednesday, finishing at 5,118.07 points, up by 16.2 points, or 0.32 percent, compared with the previous session, which stood at 5,101.88 points. Trading value amounted to 13,360,609 Omani rials, marking a decline of 27.1 percent from the previous session's 18,339,585 rials.
According to Yemen News Agency, the market capitalization rose by 0.183 percent from the last trading day, reaching approximately 30.13 billion rials. The value of purchases by non-Omani investors stood at 1.178 million rials, accounting for 8.82 percent of total trading, while sales by non-Omanis reached 1.049 million rials, or 7.85 percent. Net non-Omani investment increased by 129,000 rials, representing a rise of 0.97 percent.
