Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (30) Index concluded trading today at 5,616.02 points, marking a decline of 58.9 points or 1.04% from the previous session's close of 5,674.93 points. Total trading value saw a reduction, reaching 32,632,473 Omani riyals, which is a 22.7% decrease compared to the preceding session's 42,188,650 Omani riyals.
According to Yemen News Agency, the daily report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange highlighted a 0.442% decrease in market capitalization from the previous trading day, which now stands at approximately 31.44 billion Omani riyals. The report also detailed that the value of purchases by non-Omanis amounted to 3,491,000 Omani riyals, accounting for 10.70% of the total trading value, while sales by non-Omanis reached 4,466,000 Omani riyals, representing 13.69%. Consequently, net foreign investment witnessed a decline of 975,000 Omani riyals, which is a decrease of 2.99%.
