Sana’a: European stocks held steady on Friday, on track for their eighth consecutive monthly gain, as better-than-expected corporate updates boosted risk appetite despite lingering concerns about tariffs and disruptions related to artificial intelligence. The pan-European STOXX 600 index rose 0.1 percent to 634.16 points, hovering near a record high, with mining stocks leading the sector gains.
According to Yemen News Agency, mining stocks saw a significant increase of 1.7 percent, helping to lift the overall index. However, bank stocks faced a decline, with each falling by more than 0.4 percent, indicating mixed performance across different sectors. Despite these fluctuations, the general trend for European stocks remains positive, maintaining their upward momentum for the month.
