Business

Sana’a: Gold prices were generally stable on Friday, as a decline in U.S. Treasury yields reduced the opportunity cost of holding the precious metal, while weak demand for safe-haven assets kept prices in check. Spot gold rose 0.1 percent to $5,192.19 per ounce by 05:43 GMT. U.S. gold futures for April delivery rose 0.3 percent to $5,209.20.

According to Yemen News Agency, as for other precious metals, spot silver rose 1.6 percent to $89.73 per ounce and is on track for a 6.1 percent gain for the month.
