Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 index ended the trading session on a positive note, closing at 4,524.79 points. This marks an increase of 11.3 points, or 0.25%, from the previous session's close of 4,513.51 points. According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value for the day reached 14.503 million Omani riyals, reflecting a 16.4% increase compared to the last session's trading value of 12.463 million riyals. A report from the MSX highlighted that the market capitalization experienced a slight decline of 0.008% from the previous day, settling at approximately 28.31 billion Omani riyals. The trading activity of non-Omani investors showed that their purchases amounted to 1.229 million riyals, which accounted for 8.47% of the total trading value. Meanwhile, their sales totaled 1.164 million riyals, representing 8.03% of the trading activity. Net foreign investment increased by 65,000 riyals, or 0.45%.
