Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange "30" index closed on Monday at 7,652.08 points, down 52.6 points, or 0.68 percent, compared to the last trading session, which stood at 7,704.67 points.
According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value reached 50,795,908 Omani rials, a decrease of 43.5 percent compared to the last trading session, which amounted to 89,917,190 Omani rials. The daily report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange stated that the market capitalization decreased by 0.270 percent from the last trading day, reaching approximately 36.97 billion Omani rials.
The value of purchases by non-Omanis in the exchange amounted to 5,435,000 Omani rials, constituting 10.70 percent, while the value of sales by non-Omanis reached 4,092,000 Omani rials, representing 8.06 percent. Net non-Omani investment increased by 1,343,000 Omani rials, or 2.64 percent.
