Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed on Wednesday at 7243.42 points, marking a decline of 244.1 points, or 3.260 percent, from the previous trading session's close of 7487.52 points.
According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value reached 59,539,681 Omani rials, reflecting a decrease of 24 percent compared to the previous session's value of 78,291,432 Omani rials.
The daily report released by the Muscat Stock Exchange highlighted that the market capitalization fell by 1.333 percent from the prior trading day, totaling approximately 35.87 billion Omani rials. Non-Omani investors' purchases on the stock exchange amounted to 5 million and 540 thousand Omani riyals, making up 9.30 percent of the total, while their sales reached 6 million and 571 thousand Omani riyals, accounting for 11.04 percent. The net non-Omani investment saw a decrease of 1 million and 31 thousand Omani riyals, representing 1.73 percent.
