Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed Sunday at 7128.52 points, experiencing a drop of 49.1 points, or 0.68 percent, compared to the previous trading session's close of 7177.57 points. Trading value for the day reached 51,414,410 Omani rials.

According to Yemen News Agency, this represents a decrease of 47.6 percent compared to the previous session's trading value of 98,127,514 Omani rials. The daily report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange indicated that the market capitalization reduced by 0.434 percent from the last trading day, settling at approximately 35.60 billion Omani rials.

Non-Omani investments on the stock exchange were noteworthy, with purchases amounting to 5 million and 870 thousand Omani riyals, making up 11.42 percent of the total, while non-Omani sales amounted to 5 million and 827 thousand Omani riyals, constituting 11.33 percent. This resulted in a net increase in non-Omani investment by 43 thousand Omani riyals, or 0.08 percent.
