Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange "30" index closed on Wednesday at 5866.80 points, marking an increase of 6.4 points or 0.11 percent compared to the previous trading session, which stood at 5860.38 points.
According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value on the exchange amounted to 32,744,811 Omani riyals, showing a decline of 6.9 percent compared to the previous session's 35,175,482 Omani riyals. The daily report from the Muscat Stock Exchange highlighted a market value increase of 0.069 percent from the previous trading day, reaching approximately 32.01 billion Omani riyals.
The report further noted that the purchase value by non-Omanis was 3,195,000 Omani riyals, making up 9.76 percent, while the selling value by non-Omanis was 3,387,000 Omani riyals, accounting for 10.34 percent. Net investment by non-Omanis saw a decrease of 192,000 Omani riyals, or 0.59 percent.
