Muscat Stock Exchange Index Rises by 0.602%

Sana'a: The Muscat Stock Exchange 30 Index experienced an uptick, closing at 7,577.85 points on Sunday. This marks an increase of 45.3 points, or 0.602%, compared to the previous trading session's close of 7,532.53 points.

According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value surged to 46.779 million Omani rials, representing a 9.9% increase from the 42.578 million rials recorded in the previous session.

A report from the Muscat Stock Exchange indicated that market capitalization increased by 0.502% from the previous trading day, reaching approximately 38.51 billion Omani rials.

In terms of foreign investment, non-Omani investors purchased shares worth 5.56 million Omani rials, making up 11.89% of the total trading value. Conversely, their sales amounted to 8.098 million rials, accounting for 17.31% of the total. Consequently, net non-Omani investment saw a decline of 2.538 million Omani rials, equivalent to 5.42%.
