Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange '30 Index' closed today at 5,836.70 points, marking an increase of 63.9 points, or 1.11%, from the previous trading session, which stood at 5,772.80 points.
According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value amounted to 41,722,771 Omani riyals, which represents a decrease of 27.1% compared to the prior session's 57,207,104 Omani riyals. The daily report from the Muscat Stock Exchange noted an increase in market capitalization by 0.373% from the previous trading day, reaching approximately 31.90 billion Omani riyals.
Non-Omani purchases on the exchange totaled 3,019,000 Omani riyals, accounting for 7.24% of the overall trading. Meanwhile, non-Omani sales were recorded at 2,434,000 Omani riyals, or 5.83% of the total trading value. The net non-Omani investment saw an increase of 585,000 Omani riyals, reflecting a 1.40% rise.
