National Women’s Committee Hosts Workshop Highlighting Benefits of Summer Courses

Sana’a: Today, the National Women’s Committee held an awareness workshop for female staff on the importance of summer courses.

According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop was attended by 30 trainees from government departments and institutions, along with a number of female committee employees. The discussions focused on the significant role summer courses play in instilling religious and moral values in the next generation, while also developing students’ talents and enhancing their skills across various fields.

Dr. Ghada Abu Taleb, Chairwoman of the National Women’s Committee, addressed the attendees at the opening ceremony. She emphasized the importance of encouraging young people to participate in summer courses, which she described as a beacon for teaching the Holy Quran and its associated sciences. Dr. Abu Taleb highlighted the need for educational attention to protect youth from external influences, such as what she referred to as the ‘soft war,’ through the structured activities and programs offered during these courses.

Trainer Anhar Al-Mahdi further elaborated on the curriculum of the summer courses, noting that they focus on teaching the Quran and Quranic culture. The courses also aim to consolidate faith identity and cover a variety of other subjects, providing a comprehensive educational experience for students.
