New Sana’a District Celebrates Prophet’s Birthday with Cultural Event

Sana'a: A cultural event was organized in the New Sana'a District, located in the Sana'a Governorate, to commemorate the Prophet's birthday, an occasion of deep significance for the local community.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was orchestrated by the residents of the Lakmat al-Wais neighborhood in the Hadda area and saw the participation of the governor's deputy, Mohammed Ayed, along with activist Hassan al-Kabari. The gathering emphasized the importance of remembering this occasion, highlighting its role in reinforcing the historical connection between Yemenis and the Prophet. Al-Kabari described the celebration as an educational moment, aimed at clarifying correct understandings of the Prophet Muhammad's teachings and addressing misconceptions propagated by adversaries of Islam.

The event included segments that encouraged attendees to draw inspiration from the Prophet's life and apply these lessons in their daily lives to achieve dignity and honor. Participants were also urged to practice social solidarity, especially during these blessed days, by supporting the poor and those in need, reflecting the core principles of Islam and the compassionate message of Muhammad.

The cultural gathering, attended by officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Health, as well as representatives from the governorate and district, featured hymns that celebrated the occasion.
