New sana'a: The local authority in the New Sana'a district, in coordination with the mobilization department, organized a large meeting on Saturday to prepare for the commemoration of Prophet Muhammad's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was held under the slogan "Siege for siege, airport for airport," and was attended by Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Sammat and district director Abdullah Al-Marwani. Al-Marwani emphasized the significance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday, describing it as an important religious and educational occasion. He highlighted its role in solidifying the values of following the Prophet Muhammad's example and strengthening the connection to his noble life.
Al-Marwani further noted that commemorating the occasion reflects the high regard in which the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) is held by the Yemeni people. It embodies their adherence to his teachings as a source of guidance and steadfastness. He stressed that the event presents an opportunity to enhance religious awareness and instill values of patience, pride, and dignity.
He also urged participation in the cultural programs that accompany the occasion, emphasizing their faith-based and educational content, which contributes to strengthening intellectual and behavioral development.
Meanwhile, Dhaifallah Al-Kholani, the Guidance Officer in the Directorate, discussed the challenges facing the nation, asserting the necessity of drawing lessons and inspiration from the Prophet's biography. He emphasized adherence to the values established by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), which enhances awareness and faith, fortifying society against various challenges.
Al-Kholani pointed out that commemorating the Prophet's birthday embodies a deep connection to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and reinforces commitment to his teachings, morals, and character.
