Hodeidah: The General People's Congress (GPC) and its allies in the National Democratic Alliance Parties have strongly condemned the recent Saudi attack targeting civilian sites and vital facilities in Hodeidah province.
According to Yemen News Agency, the GPC and its allies described the assault as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and all international conventions and norms that prohibit attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure. The statement emphasized that such actions would only bolster the Yemeni people's resilience and determination to uphold their legitimate rights, particularly the right to defend their homeland and sovereignty.
The statement underscored the commitment of the Yemeni people to resist aggression by all legitimate means until the conflict ends, the blockade is lifted, and Yemen regains its security, stability, and full sovereignty. Furthermore, the statement urged the international community and the United Nations to fulfill their legal and humanitarian responsibilities by condemning attacks on civilian facilities, taking decisive action to end the aggression, and working to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
