Officials Inspect Rural Road Expansion Projects in Yarim District

Yarim: Representative of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit in Ibb province, Ahmed Nayef, on Sunday inspected several rural road projects in the Khoudan area, Yarim district, as part of a program to expand and improve road services.

According to Yemen News Agency, Nayef was accompanied by Yarim district director Mohammed al-Khalid and Executive Director of the Multipurpose Cooperative Society Abdullah Abbad. They reviewed the progress on the 1,220-meter expansion of the 'Kharban Al-Manakh - Al-Suwal - Shuba Shamis - al-Shakami' road, which benefits 3,695 people.

The officials also assessed the surveying and widening works on the 'Al-Ra'adi - al-Hadabi - al-Muhayb' road, stretching 3.5 km and benefiting 2,196 people, and the 'Bani Masoud' road, which is 7.5 km long and benefits 4,104 people.

Nayef emphasized the need for joint efforts to overcome challenges in implementing these initiatives and confirmed continued support for projects serving the most deprived rural areas, aligning with directives from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local and Rural Development.

District Director al-Khalid highlighted the importance of these projects in improving citizens' services and urged completing ongoing initiatives, especially in road construction.
