Sana'a: Capital Sana'a's al-Tahrir district sees strong participation in summer educational programs for girls, with local officials highlighting the importance of the activities in nurturing religious values and combating misleading cultural influences.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abdullatif al-Omari, Deputy Head of Sana'a Capital for Local Affairs, and Naji al-Shaiani, Director of al-Tahrir district, visited the summer activities for girls in the district.
The officials assessed the level of participation and the variety of programs provided, which focus on Quranic education, reinforcing religious identity, alongside cultural and sports activities. During their visit, al-Omari and al-Shaiani praised the well-organized programs and the efforts of the educational and administrative staff. They were presented with performances from the students, including Quranic recitations, Yamania grammar exercises, and other creative skills.
The officials also learned about the structure of the summer course, the process of student enrollment, and the number of participants. Both emphasized the need for greater efforts to encourage girls to join these programs, which play a crucial role in shaping their skills and character development. They urged parents to take responsibility for enrolling their children in these educational centers, which they emphasized are vital in protecting the youth from misleading ideologies and cultural manipulation.
