Hadhramaut Governor Reviews Badr Scientific Summer Center Activities and Visits Key Cultural Sites

Hadhramaut: Governor Luqman Baras visited the Badr Scientific and Cultural Center in Al-Sabeen District of the Capital's Secretariat, where he reviewed the activities of the summer program. The center hosts students from Hadhramaut Governorate and other regions, focusing on Quranic studies and cultural enrichment.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Baras engaged with students and program leaders, discussing the involvement of Hadhramaut students in the center's activities. The visit also included a tour of the Martyr Al-Mahthouri shrine, where the governor paid his respects, and the Badr Mosque library, where he examined its extensive collection of books.

Governor Baras addressed the students, highlighting the importance of summer courses in fostering a conscious and responsible generation, aligned with the values promoted by the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. He stressed that these courses reinforce faith-based and national identity, protecting youth from adverse cultural influences.

Baras criticized foreign interventions, asserting that Yemenis have excelled in resisting external forces under the Quranic movement. He expressed hope that the students would gain valuable knowledge and skills from the program, emphasizing the challenging conditions in the southern occupied governorates due to foreign occupation, and encouraging participation in future summer courses.
