Oil Minister Reviews Ramadan Program Preparations

Sanaa: A meeting chaired by Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Abdullah al-Amir discussed preparations for the holy month of Ramadan and arrangements for implementing the ministry's Ramadan program. The meeting reviewed the ministry's plan to revive and activate its Ramadan program.

According to Yemen News Agency, discussions covered performance reports and the implementation of last year's Ramadan activities, as well as preparatory measures for this year's program. The program includes religious, cultural, and social activities, initiatives promoting charity and benevolence, strengthening social solidarity, enhancing cleanliness efforts, and improving public services during the holy month.

During the meeting, the Oil Minister emphasized the importance of preparing for Ramadan through worship, acts of devotion, and recitation of the Holy Qur'an. He highlighted the need to embrace the spiritual atmosphere of the month and benefit from daily guidance lectures to strengthen attachment to the Qur'an and divine guidance, upholding a faith-based identity and culture.

Dr. Al-Amir urged ministry employees and affiliated units to organize Ramadan events and cultural programs, enhance job performance, and promote values such as brotherhood, love, and tolerance. He also stressed the importance of loyalty and dedication to work, especially during the holy month, and the implementation of awareness programs and charitable initiatives to support those in need.

The Minister called for intensified mobilization and vigilance to reinforce resilience in the face of challenges and hostile schemes.
