Sana'a: The General Mobilization Office in the Old Sana'a District of the Capital Secretariat organized a cultural event to commemorate the Prophet's Birthday for the year 1447 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by prominent figures including the Secretariat's Undersecretary, Ali Shuraim, and the Chairman of the General Authority for the Preservation of Historic Cities, Abdul-Wahhab Al-Mahdi. Ahmed Majli, the Undersecretary of the General Authority for Zakat and Tax, highlighted the significance of this solemn religious occasion. He spoke about its place in the hearts of Yemenis and their close connection to the Messenger of Allah, emphasizing the importance of promoting the noble values, principles, and morals of Muhammad within society. This comes at a time when the Islamic nation faces significant challenges that target its identity and faith.
The event also saw attendance from the Director of the District, Mahdi Arhab, the Secretary of the District, Mujahid Al-Ghail, along with executive leaders and social figures. Additionally, the residents of the Al-Kharaz neighborhood in the Old Sana'a District organized a celebratory evening to mark the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday. This evening included several speeches and cultural performances, attended by officials such as the Director of Resources at the Secretariat, Muhammad Ibrahim, and the Deputy Director of the Cleanliness Fund, Ibrahim Al-Khawlani.
The speeches delivered during the evening emphasized the importance of celebrating the birth of the Greatest Prophet, highlighting the manifestations of joy and happiness in a manner appropriate to the occasion. The event underscored the Yemeni people's love, loyalty, and close connection to their noble Prophet, as well as their adherence to his righteous path. The evening's activities included hymns and songs in praise of the Greatest Prophet, and a tribute was also paid to graduates of the Tufan Al-Aqsa courses.
