Open Cycling Championship Kicks Off in Sana’a Tomorrow

Sana'a: The open cycling championship, organized by the Yemeni General Cycling Federation for the "Martyrs on the Road to Quds" Cup, will kick off tomorrow, Saturday, in Sana'a. The event is held in coordination with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and funded by the Youth and Sports Development Fund.

According to Yemen News Agency, participants from clubs in the capital city and the governorates of Sana'a, Dhamar, Aden, Lahj, and Hodeidah will compete in a 62-kilometer open race.

The Federation, in its meeting chaired by Federation President Mohammed Eidrous and the Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the capital city, Abdullah Obaid, and attended by Championship Director Hashem Anqad, approved the formation of the organizing and refereeing committees, the race route, and the organizational procedures.
