Opening of Public Service Center at Zakat Branch in Bani Al-Harith District

Sana'a: Bani Al-Harith A public service center was inaugurated on Sunday in the Capital Secretariat at the Bani Al-Harith district branch to receive and process transactions for beneficiaries from the district.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Director of the Authority's Office in the Secretariat, Mohammed Al-Alfi, explained that the launch of the center is part of efforts to enhance the level of services provided to zakat beneficiaries and to facilitate procedures in a way that alleviates the suffering of the poor and needy, bringing services closer to them. He noted that the center has begun receiving applications, with priority given to the most vulnerable groups, ensuring fairness in delivering zakat to those entitled. He also stressed the importance of adhering to the approved mechanisms for serving the public and working in accordance with the established regulations.

Bani Al-Harith District Director Hamad bin Rakan praised the step, noting that it will help simplify procedures for citizens at the Zakat Authority and reduce the burden on beneficiaries, particularly regarding travel to the main administration. He also emphasized the importance of issuing directives to neighborhood leaders to submit lists of eligible families.
