Opening of “Yemeni Fingertips” Art Exhibition in Bilad Al-Rus

Sana'a: The Deputy Governor of Sana'a, Abu Nojoom Al-Mahaqiri, inaugurated the second "Yemeni Fingertips" art exhibition today in the village of Wa'lan, located in the Bilad Al-Rus District. This event is dedicated to showcasing and promoting the products crafted by productive Yemeni families.

According to Yemen News Agency, the exhibition is organized by the Women's Development Office in Bilad Al-Rus District. Its primary goal is to empower productive families within the district by fostering self-sufficiency and encouraging local manufacturing across various sectors.

Key figures, including the Director of the Economy and Industry Office, Fahd Al-Ghurbani; the Economic Empowerment Officer, Mohammed Al-Qar'fi; District Director, Saleh Naji; and Mobilization Officer, Ahmed Al-Yasani, were present to explore the range of exhibits. The exhibition features a diverse array of items such as local food products, fabrics, embroideries, clothing, jewelry, expressive figurines, drawings, and cleaning products.

The attendees highlighted the significance of promoting local production and shifting towards local products to bolster the local economy. They emphasized the crucial role women play in enhancing local production, which in turn aids in securing a stable income for productive families.

Umm Al-Kareem Al-Kabsi, Director of the Women's Development Office in the district, elaborated on the exhibition's objective to showcase and market the local products of productive families in Bilad Al-Rus District. The aim is to support these families and advance towards achieving self-sufficiency in all areas.
