Al-bayda: Students of Al-Aqel Educational Complex in Al-Bayda organized on Sunday an oratorical event to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, peace and blessings be upon him. During the event, participants observed a moment of silence and recited Al-Fatiha in memory of the Prime Minister and several ministers who were martyred in the Zionist aggression against the capital, Sana'a.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event, attended by Al-Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris, included remarks from Dr. Qasim Al-Hamran, Chairman of the Prophet's Birthday Committee. He highlighted the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday as a mark of reverence for the Noble Messenger and as a reaffirmation of his esteemed place in the hearts of the people.
Al-Hamran emphasized the need for the nation to sincerely return to God and His Messenger in order to build a Muhammadan community that spreads goodness throughout the world. He noted that commemorating the birthday of the leader and savior of the nation frustrates and pains the enemies of Islam and reinforces the strong bond between the faithful and the Prophet.
He also pointed out that celebrating the Prophet's birthday strengthens the religious identity and carries profound significance, especially in light of the major challenges facing the Islamic Ummah that aim to undermine its identity.
Al-Hamran called on all residents of the governorate to attend the central celebration, which will be held in Al-Sawadiyah District on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal. He stressed Yemen's firm and principled stance on the Palestinian issue, describing support for the people of Gaza as a religious and moral duty. He added that commemorating the Prophet's birthday represents upholding the path of truth, confronting falsehood and tyranny, and reflects the deep love of Yemenis for the Prophet.
Several speeches delivered during the event underlined that the Prophet's birthday is one of the most important religious occasions, deserving attention and reflection on the noble character, life, and courageous struggles of the Prophet in the face of oppressors. The event also highlighted a luminous aspect of the Prophet's life, his noble attributes, and his mission as a mercy to the worlds.
