Mahwit: The Orphan Development Foundation launched a project on Tuesday to distribute Eid al-Adha clothing and food baskets to residents of an orphan care house in Al-Mahwit province, coordinating with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation, Engineer Abdulkarim Al-Soloul, along with the Director of the Security and Intelligence Agency branch, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Wajeeh, and the Director of the Social Affairs Office, Dr. Yahya Al-Tayyari, underscored the significance of this project. They stressed its role in alleviating the hardships faced by orphans and bringing joy to their lives.
The officials noted that the initiative is part of the ongoing activities and projects implemented by the foundation to serve orphans and address their needs. They emphasized that caring for orphans, the poor, and the needy is a religious and humanitarian duty that contributes to the promotion of social solidarity.
