Gaza city: A Palestinian citizen was martyred on Sunday, succumbing to wounds he sustained from Israeli enemy shelling near the Firas market in central Gaza City.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Palestinian news agency "Wafa" reported, citing medical sources, that the martyr, Saeed Fayez Shamali, had been injured in the shelling that targeted the area earlier, before it was announced that he had died from his wounds.
With the martyrdom of Shamali, the death toll of Palestinian martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 of last year has risen to 930, with a total of 2,811 injuries, while 781 bodies have been retrieved.
