Sana’a: In its session today, chaired by Speaker Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, the House of Representatives listened to a letter from the head of the Government of Change and Construction addressed to the Parliament Speaker, regarding the submission of the draft law of the Ministers’ Council. The letter, submitted by the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, included a request to complete the constitutional procedures to discuss the draft law and take the necessary measures.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Council also listened to a letter from the Prime Minister on canceling the request to withdraw the draft amendment to the Pensions and Rewards Law for the Armed and Security Forces No. (33) of 1992, as amended by Law No. (8) of 1994, which was previously referred to the Council. The Council approved the request to cancel the withdrawal of the aforementioned project and complete the necessary procedures.
During the session, Council members emphasized the importance of addressing Arab and Islamic parliaments and unions to adopt a unified position to support the Palestinian cause, confront the crime and conspiracy of displacement that the current US administration is trying to impose on the Palestinian people, the owners of the right and land, in order to serve the Zionist occupier.
