Sana'a: The Speaker of the Parliament Yahya al-Ra'i on Tuesday sent a congratulatory message to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat, on the occasion of the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan.
According to Yemen News Agency, in his message, al-Ra'i, on behalf of himself and the leadership and members of the House of Representatives, expressed pride and appreciation for the wise and courageous positions of the Leader of the Revolution, which reflect the aspirations of the Yemeni people and the Arab and Islamic nations in confronting the forces of evil and global arrogance. He also reaffirmed support for the issues of the nation, particularly the Palestinian cause, and the ongoing conspiracies, injustice, aggression, and siege faced by the Arab and Islamic world.
He praised the recent mass rally in Sana'a and the free Yemeni provinces, which took place in response to the call of duty and solidarity with the Palestinian people in their fight against Israeli arrogance and their efforts to undermine Palestinian rights.
Al-Ra'i urged everyone to remain vigilant, cautious, and fully prepared as part of a strategy to confront the enemies of the nation and respond responsibly and effectively, drawing strength and confidence from Allah Almighty and the wise leadership of the Yemeni people in facing all schemes and future challenges.
On this blessed occasion, Speaker al-Ra'i extended his warmest congratulations to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat, the members of the Supreme Political Council, the brave members of the armed forces, security personnel, and the entire Yemeni people.
He emphasized the need to strengthen unity among all segments of the Yemeni people under the leadership of the Leader of the Revolution, especially in the face of the consequences of the aggression and siege, particularly with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
Al-Ra'i stressed that the arrival of this blessed month embodies the values of obedience, patience, compassion, and forgiveness.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives also considered the holy month as an opportunity to draw inspiration from spiritual meanings, unify efforts, and work towards the aspirations of the Yemeni people for a free and dignified life. He prayed to Allah to bring blessings, goodness, and peace to the Yemeni people during this Ramadan and to grant victory for the nation.
