Amman: The Parliament Speaker Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i welcomed the signing of the prisoner exchange agreement in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Speaker expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the head and members of the National Committee for Prisoners' Affairs in reaching and successfully concluding the agreement. He affirmed that completing this humanitarian file and securing the release of all prisoners and detainees held by the US-Saudi aggression and its mercenaries, in accordance with the 'all for all' principle as stipulated in the roadmap, reflects the commitment of the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the political leadership to prioritize the issue and provide all necessary facilitation for its completion.
Al-Ra'i also stressed the Parliament's keenness to complete all humanitarian files, foremost among them the payment of salaries and the reopening of airports for travelers and patients through all possible means. He praised the cooperation of all parties who contributed to reaching this important humanitarian agreement, which is hoped to create suitable conditions for addressing the remaining humanitarian issues in Yemen and ending the suffering of the Yemeni people.
