Hodeida: The Hodeida branch of the General Authority for Lands, Survey and Urban Planning, alongside the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Funding Unit, the Agricultural Cooperative Union branch, and the Community Initiatives Department, organized an evening of speeches to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. The event, held under the slogan "At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah," was marked by a spirit of joy and celebration, reflecting the deep connection of Yemenis to the Prophet.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bashari emphasized that the celebratory atmosphere in Hodeida is a testament to the Yemenis' enduring bond with the Prophet Muhammad. He noted that this spirit of faith translates into the practical stances of the Yemeni people in defending national issues, particularly the Palestinian cause. Al-Bashari highlighted that the occasion embodies the presence of the Prophet's message in the nation's reality, affirming Yemenis' commitment to the path of dignity and freedom.
He further explained that celebrating the Prophet's birthday coincides with the Yemeni people's achievements in confronting external conspiracies, symbolizing a renewal of allegiance to the Prophet's teachings and the strength of a nation that resists hegemony. The First Deputy Governor remarked that this celebration represents a profound message of loyalty to the Prophet and reinforces Yemen's unwavering support for Palestine and Gaza.
Al-Bashari also stated that the leadership's wisdom and Quranic vision have transformed the commemoration into an event beyond celebration, solidifying a unified faith-based identity and renewing the resolve to confront tyranny. Deputy Governor for Services Affairs, Muhammad Halisi, added that the Prophet's birthday serves as a reminder of the greatness of his message, guiding humanity towards justice and freedom.
Halisi emphasized that the participation of Land Authority and agricultural sector staff in the event demonstrates an institutional commitment to the Prophet's values and a national responsibility to uphold truth in public service. The event also witnessed remarks from Engineer Abdulkarim Al-Sufyani, who reaffirmed the role of state institutions in safeguarding society's rights and called for the celebration to inspire greater awareness and responsibility.
Deputy Director Ahmed Al-Marouni highlighted that commemorating the Prophet's birthday reinforces faith-based values and provides a chance for the nation to return to the Prophetic path amidst challenges. He described the celebration as a reminder of Muslims' potential to reclaim their civilizational role by embracing the Prophet's values.
Al-Marouni pointed out that as Yemen endures prolonged aggression and blockade, this occasion sends a message of resilience and commitment to the Prophet's principles. The evening, attended by various local leaders, scholars, and social figures, featured poems and presentations expressing love for the Prophet and pride in the anniversary of his birth.
