Party in 7th of July District of Hodeida Commemorating Prophet’s Birthday

Hodeida: A celebratory evening was held in the 7th of July District of Hodeida to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

According to Yemen News Agency, Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim highlighted the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday and the importance of celebrating this occasion in strengthening the connection with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and emulating his example.

Minister Qahim, speaking at the event which was attended by former Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Hussein Maqbouli, Governor of Hodeida Abdullah Atifi, several members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bashari, other deputies, and directors of executive offices and districts, considered the large public turnout as confirmation of the Yemeni people's adherence to the path of the Prophet and their stances on the issues facing the Muslim world.

He noted that as Yemenis celebrate this occasion, they recall the history of their forefathers, the Ansar, in supporting the Prophet and the Islamic call, emphasizing that this role is being renewed today in the Yemeni people's positions on the issues facing the Muslim world, foremost among them the Palestinian cause. The Minister of Transport and Public Works explained that the nation is in dire need of a sincere return to the Prophetic methodology, which will restore its awareness of its issues and define its stance against injustice and deviation. He pointed out that commemorating the Prophet's birthday derives its meaning from emulating the Messenger of Allah and applying his teachings and way of life to the nation.

Minister Qahim urged active and honorable participation in the central event next Tuesday to commemorate the Prophet's birthday, and to observe the occasion in a manner befitting the status of the greatest Messenger.

Speeches delivered at the event emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birthday embodies love for the greatest Messenger and connection to his life, reflecting the importance of the occasion to the community.

The speeches also addressed the legitimacy of celebrating the Prophet's birthday, the role of scholars in explaining its significance and implications, and the connection of the occasion to the Prophet's biography and the guidance it offers to the nation in various aspects of life. The evening, attended by security and military leaders, scholars, and social figures, included poems, praises of the Prophet, and expressive chants.
