Sana'a: The people of Sana'a Province, like Yemenis across the country, are eagerly welcoming the blessed anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, for the year 1447 AH. From the beginning of the month of Safar, the provincial leadership launched preparations at both the official and popular levels in the capital and districts, aiming to commemorate this great religious occasion in its finest form and to highlight the significance of the event that changed the course of human history.

According to Yemen News Agency, authorities have decorated government facilities, houses, mountain peaks, hills, and valleys throughout Sana'a's vast districts with green lights and colorful lanterns, symbolizing the joy of this event and reflecting the Yemenis' genuine and unwavering loyalty to the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family. Across all districts, Sana'a Province has hosted preparatory meetings and inaugural activities dedicated to celebrating the Prophet's birthday at the provincial, district, village, and community levels, expressing the deep love and reverence for the Messenger in people's hearts.

This year's commemoration of the Prophet's birth carries particular significance amid global challenges, most notably the brutal war and massacres being carried out by the Zionist entity in Gaza with American and European support, alongside broader schemes targeting the identity, history, and civilization of the Islamic nation. The occasion coincides with regional and international developments, especially the enemy's attempt to eliminate the Palestinian cause-the central issue of the Ummah-as well as Yemen's honorable stance under the leadership of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, in support of Gaza and its fighters confronting global Zionism.

Yemenis' early preparations and distinctive celebrations compared to past years send a clear message to the world: the Prophet of mercy, peace be upon him and his family, lives in the hearts of the people and will never be abandoned, unlike how past nations betrayed their prophets. His remembrance and message will endure, as affirmed in the divine words: 'And We have raised high for you your repute.'

With great love and enthusiasm, the people of Sana'a are actively engaged in organizing official and popular activities, while continuing to decorate streets, mosques, houses, mountains, and valleys with banners and slogans expressing joy and reverence for the occasion. The celebrations will culminate on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal with a central event in the capital Sana'a and across all provinces, affirming Yemenis' strong bond with the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, in gratitude to Allah for His mercy to the worlds and in adherence to the Prophet's values and principles.

The commemoration reflects Yemenis' loyalty to the Prophet, deeply rooted through generations, while serving as a platform to reinforce principles and strengthen faith in people's hearts. The anniversary is marked with diverse celebrations across districts, including praise chants, poetry, devotional songs, and gatherings in mosques where the Prophet's life is remembered. These activities inspire loyalty to God, devotion to Islam, and love for the Prophet.

Villages and neighborhoods throughout Sana'a Province are holding cultural and religious events daily, highlighting the occasion as a moment to deepen faith and resilience, and to strengthen ties with the Messenger of humanity. At the official level, local councils, executive offices, and community organizations are actively implementing celebration plans with broad participation, forming a unique and vibrant scene that honors the status of the Prophet.

Governor Abdulbasit al-Hadi told Saba News Agency that the Prophet's birthday anniversary has become an educational and spiritual occasion to embrace the human values established by the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, fostering social solidarity and care for the needy, in line with the Prophet's saying: 'I was only sent to perfect good character.' He added that the celebration reflects the depth of the bond with the Prophet and loyalty to God, stressing that Yemenis have celebrated this occasion since the earliest days of Islam, beginning with the Ansar's reception of the Prophet in Medina.

Governor al-Hadi described the commemoration as a message to the world of Yemenis' steadfastness and commitment to the values upheld by their forefathers, urging people to engage fully in the activities. 'There is no dignity or honor in life except by following the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, loving him, and adhering to his divine guidance,' he said, calling for solidarity with Gaza in all celebrations. He emphasized the importance of thorough preparation, noting that this year's commemoration coincides with the anniversary of the formation of the Government of Change, Construction and Yemen's honorable stance in support of Palestine.

The governor also urged citizens to resist divisive calls that aim to undermine Yemen's social fabric and stability, warning against those who serve the interests of the Zionist and American enemy. Meanwhile, Secretary-General of the Local Council, Abdulqadir al-Jilani, affirmed that Yemenis' participation stems from pure hearts obedient to God, pointing to their devotion to the Prophet's message, the path of struggle, and their readiness to confront challenges. He urged people to embrace the Prophet's values, morals, uphold Quranic culture, and embody faith-based identity in daily life.

Deputy Governor Hamid Asim noted that the large-scale celebrations reflect Yemenis' true faith in God and His Messenger, and their determination to uphold the Prophet's message while confronting modern-day forces of tyranny and aggression-namely America, Britain, and the Zionist entity. He added that the occasion serves as a reminder of the unity of the Ummah, a call to resist submission and oppression.

Asim emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birth is an opportunity to draw lessons from his life and teachings, urging citizens to participate in celebrations in a manner befitting the Prophet's honor. Alongside Yemenis nationwide, the people of Sana'a are expressing their love and attachment to the Prophet through reviving his Sunnah, following his values, and strengthening their faith along the prophetic path.

In recent days, numerous celebrations have been held in villages, towns, and city squares, with festivities continuing across the province until the central event on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.
