Hajjah: The Health and Environment Office of Hajjah province, in collaboration with the Republican Hospital Authority, held a cultural evening on Saturday to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, Governorate Deputy Ahmed Al-Akhfash emphasized that commemorating this religious occasion reflects devotion, reverence, and allegiance to the final Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). He highlighted that this celebration of the 'Messenger of Mercy' occurs amidst ongoing conflicts faced by the Palestinian people and the silence of Arab nations, underlining the connection of the Ansar's descendants to the Prophet and their dedication to supporting the oppressed.
Al-Akhfash remarked on the resilience of the Yemeni people and the achievements of the armed, missile, and naval forces in defending Al-Aqsa, attributing these successes to adherence to the teachings of the Prophet. He stressed that Yemenis celebrate the Prophet's birthday to express pride and gratitude for this divine guidance, seen as the path to victory and honor against aggression.
The evening was attended by University President Dr. Mohammed Al-Khalid and several directors of executive offices. Dr. Ahmed Al-Kahlani, Director of the Hajjah Health Office, highlighted the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday to reinforce loyalty to the Messenger. He emphasized that this occasion strengthens the younger generation's connection to the Prophet, encouraging adherence to his teachings, preserving Islamic identity, and countering threats to the Muslim community.
Dr. Al-Kahlani also stressed the importance of embodying values of benevolence and compassion, following the Prophet's example in both word and action. He urged efforts to improve medical services for citizens and alleviate their suffering.
