Sana’a: The editorial boards of the 26 September and al-Yemen newspapers inaugurated a poignant photo exhibition on Sunday, paying tribute to their martyred journalists, media personnel, and technical staff who tragically lost their lives in a Zionist airstrike targeting the newspapers’ headquarters on September 10.
According to Yemen News Agency, the exhibition, attended by the families of the martyrs and numerous journalists, showcased images of the fallen alongside remnants from the attack site. These included fragments of U.S.-made bombs used in the airstrike and damaged cameras that belonged to the photographers, providing a stark reminder of the violent event.
The editorial boards declared that the massacre of September 10 would not be forgotten, and they vowed that justice would be pursued. Efforts are being made locally and internationally, in collaboration with human rights activists, to bring the perpetrators to trial as war criminals in international courts.
They underscored that the attack on Yemeni journalists is part of a larger pattern of crimes by the Zionist occupiers in Palestine, aimed at suppressing media voices and hiding atrocities against civilians in Gaza. The boards asserted that no amount of American or Zionist munitions could stifle the truth, and both newspapers are committed to continuing their journalistic mission with unwavering dedication.
Families of the victims expressed their appreciation for the newspapers’ support, stating that such acts of violence would only serve to fortify the resilience and determination of the Yemeni people.
