Sana'a: Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment Sam Al-Bashiri met on Wednesday with shareholders of the Saudi-Yemeni Medical Services Company to discuss the situation of the Saudi German Hospital in Sana'a and plans to revitalize it.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the General Investment Authority, Mohammed Ishaq, and the Chairman of the General Organization for Social Insurance, Sharaf Al-Din Al-Kahlani. They reviewed the difficulties facing the hospital and proposed solutions to improve its current state and modernization plans.
Al-Bashiri emphasized the commitment to revitalizing the hospital so it can fulfill its leading role in the medical field, considering it one of the most important medical investments that qualifies it to provide high-quality services that contribute to raising the standard of healthcare in the country.
He also stressed the importance of protecting the rights of shareholders and both foreign and local partners.
The attendees approved a number of measures related to addressing the challenges facing the hospital.
