Sana'a: Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi engaged in a discussion today with Engineer Moein Al-Mahakari, the Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, and Abduljabbar Ahmed, the Minister of Finance. The focus of the meeting was a matrix outlining crucial guidelines for preparing the general budget for the year 1447 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the ministers indicated that the draft budget was structured to address urgent priorities within the Government of Change and Construction's program, aligning with the leadership's directives. The matrix emphasized supporting production and enhancing both economic and service sectors.
The meeting also covered vital technical and procedural controls, along with the expenditure plan for the upcoming general budget. Prime Minister Al-Rahwi highlighted the importance of prioritizing service-related aspects in programs focused on agriculture, education, economic empowerment, and community-supporting projects across all districts. He emphasized the need to focus on road paving, water supply, and water barrier projects.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister lauded the mechanism for distributing local authority budgets. This mechanism includes agricultural programs, productive projects, and industrial laboratories that not only boost agricultural output but also safeguard products from oversupply issues.
