Muscat: The residents of Al-Mujamalah sub-district in Beit al-Faqih district, Al-Hudaydah province, organized a popular carnival festival today commemorating the anniversary of Yawm al-Wilayah (Day of Guardianship) for the year 1447 AH, under the slogan “Whoever I am his master (mawla), then this Ali is his master.”

According to Yemen News Agency, the festival was attended by the district director, Hussein Sahl, the sub-district sheikh, Mohammed Daghful, as well as local, mobilization, security leaders, and social, educational, and cultural figures. Speeches emphasized the importance of commemorating this occasion to consolidate the values of faith and loyalty to Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

The speeches considered Yawm al-Wilayah as a key milestone to strengthen the connection to Quranic leadership and to embody the depth of the relationship between the nation and its divine leaders, contributing to the elevation and righteousness of the nation’s reality and correcting its historical path.

The district director called on community members to interact widely in commemorating this occasion, reviewing the values of truth and justice established by Imam Ali (may God honor his face), and the necessity of recalling his noble biography in practical, social, and jihadist stances.

Sahl urged everyone to mobilize and participate widely in the major central event to be held in Imam Ali Square (peace be upon him) in Al-Husayniyah city, embodying loyalty and adherence to the righteous path.

The festival featured artistic and heritage segments and folk dances from authentic Tihami heritage, all expressing the love, connection, and high status Imam Ali holds in the hearts of Yemenis.
