Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange "30" index closed on Wednesday at 7,671.43 points, down 100.7 points, or 1.29 percent, compared to the last trading session which closed at 7,772.18 points.

According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value reached 34,121,518 Omani rials, down 9.57 percent compared to the last trading session which stood at 37,731,264 Omani rials. The report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange indicated that the market capitalization fell by 0.626 percent from the last trading day, reaching approximately 36.81 billion Omani rials.

The value of non-Omani purchases on the exchange amounted to 4,456,000 Omani rials, representing 13.06 percent, while the value of non-Omani sales reached 6,434,000 Omani rials, or 18.86 percent. Meanwhile, non-Omani net investment decreased by 1,978,000 Omani rials, or 5.80 percent.
