Al-hudaydah: The local authority and General Mobilization in Al-Qanawis district of Al-Hudaydah province organized a popular celebration today commemorating the anniversary of Yawm al-Wilayah (Ghadir Day) for the year 1447 AH.

According to Yemen News Agency, the celebration was attended by the district director, Mohammed Al-Qawzi, the security director, Colonel Mohammed Qawza', and the mobilization official, Ibrahim Al-Mahdi. Speeches emphasized the importance of commemorating this anniversary to draw lessons from the biography of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and the concept of guardianship (wilayah) to protect the nation and preserve its faith-based identity.

They considered the large public attendance as an embodiment of the emotional connection of Yemenis to the family of the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family), and following their path in facing challenges.

The celebration, with the participation of members of the Al-Qanawis security administration, directors of executive offices, social figures, neighborhood heads, and notables, featured folk dances, Tihami chants, poems, and choral segments.
