Al-mahwit: Today, Al-Mahwit province witnessed massive popular events in 12 squares in the provincial center and its districts (Jabal Al-Mahwit, Ar Rujum, At Tawilah, Shibam, Al Khabt, Hufash, Bani Sa'd, Malhan), celebrating the anniversary of Yawm al-Wilayah under the slogan "Whoever I am his master (mawla), then this Ali is his master."
According to Yemen News Agency, participants affirmed their adherence to the principle of guardianship (wilayah) as a guarantee to protect the nation from subservience to its enemies. They highlighted the importance of drawing lessons from the biography of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in justice, wisdom, courage, and supporting the oppressed. They noted that the nation today is in need of these values to face challenges and conspiracies targeting its identity and constants.
Speeches delivered at the events praised the steadfast Yemeni stance in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples. They affirmed that this stance reflects the Yemeni people's awareness of the true nature of the conflict with the forces of arrogance. The events featured poems, heritage segments, and expressive anthems. The gatherings were attended by the Governor of Al-Mahwit, the Secretary-General of the local council, the mobilization official, deputies, the security director, and local, military, security leaders, and social figures.
