Sana'a: Today, Sana'a province witnessed massive popular events in 29 squares and fields in the districts of Hamdan, Bani Hushaysh, Sana'a Al-Jadidah, Bilad Ar Rus, Sanhan wa Bani Bahloul, Bani Matar, Jihanah, Khawlan, At Tiyal, Bani Dabyan, Al Hisn, Al Haymah Ad Dakhiliyyah, Al Haymah Al Kharijiyyah, Nihm, Arhab, Manakhah, and Sa'fan, celebrating the anniversary of Yawm al-Wilayah under the slogan "Whoever I am his master (mawla), then this Ali is his master."
According to Yemen News Agency, speeches at the events affirmed that the hadith of wilayah is authentic and widely transmitted, with the Prophet's declaration at Ghadir Khumm being a divine command for the nation's continuity. Speakers emphasized that wilayah is not just emotional love but a practical commitment to Imam Ali's path of establishing justice and fighting oppression. They criticized regimes that reject the wilayah of Imam Ali while normalizing relations with the Zionist entity and America.
The speeches highlighted the massive public turnout, which demonstrated the status of Imam Ali in the hearts of Yemenis and their determination to follow his path in confronting the nation's enemies. The events affirmed that sincere allegiance is the source of dignity, honor, and victory, and that the Yemeni stance in support of the oppressed Palestinian people is a true manifestation of this allegiance.
The celebrations included poems, operettas, folk songs, and various segments, attended by the Grand Mufti of Yemen, members of the House of Representatives and Shura Council, deputies of the province and ministries, district directors, military and security leaders, and social figures.
