Festival in Jabal al-Sharq District Celebrates Yawm al-Wilayah with Enthusiastic Participation

Dhamar: The residents of Jabal al-Sharq district in Dhamar province gathered today in a celebratory festival on the occasion of the anniversary of the Day of the Guardianship (Yawm al-Wilayah) of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him), under the slogan "Whoever I am his master (mawla), then this Ali is his master."

According to Yemen News Agency, the festival was attended by prominent figures, including the deputy governor of the province, Ali Atif, and the director of financial resources at the provincial office, Ali Shaqdam. Local, executive, mobilization, and security leaders were also present. The district director, Mohsen Shaqdam, commended the high level of attendance and the interactive celebration, which demonstrated the community's loyalty, belonging, and connection to Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

Masoud Al-Khatri, the training and qualification official, highlighted the significance of Yawm al-Wilayah as a religious and educational milestone. He emphasized the importance of renewing and consolidating loyalty to the friends of God, opposing the enemies of God, adopting the morals of Imam Ali, and following his path in words and deeds. The festival featured folklore segments, including traditional chants and folk songs, which expressed the occasion's significance in the hearts of the people of Yemen, known as the land of faith and wisdom.
