Sanaa: The General Authority for Post and Postal Savings has announced that its offices will remain open exceptionally until the early hours of Eid morning and throughout the Eid holiday. The decision ensures that essential postal services will continue without interruption during this festive period.
According to Yemen News Agency, Director-General Ammar Wahan stated that post offices in Sana'a and other provinces will continue operating at full capacity. This measure is intended to ensure uninterrupted services and necessary facilitation for citizens who rely on postal services.
Wahan emphasized that the extended working hours until Eid morning align with government directives, particularly from the Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology. This initiative aims to facilitate transactions and disburse half-salary payments to government employees, zakat beneficiaries, retirees (both civil and military), and others who receive payments via post offices across the country.
Despite the extended hours leading up to Eid, regular working hours will apply during the Eid holiday itself, ensuring that essential services remain available to the public.
