Taiz: The Health and Environment Office in Taiz Governorate has supplied chronic disease medications to the central pharmacy and a CBC device to Al Nasr Shamir Hospital in Maqbana District. The total value of these medical supplies is 11 million Yemeni riyals, which were provided with the support of the Ministry of Health and Environment along with its office in the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Abdulmalik Al-Mutawakil, Director General of the Health Office in the governorate, commended the Ministry and the local authority's leadership for their efforts to support the health sector. He highlighted the importance of these contributions in enhancing medical and treatment services within the region.
Dr. Al-Mutawakil emphasized that the provision of chronic disease medications is expected to alleviate the burden on citizens, thereby improving their access to necessary healthcare. The initiative reflects a continuous effort to advance the healthcare framework in Taiz Governorate, ensuring residents receive adequate medical support.
