Preparations Underway for Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday Celebrations in Al-Safiyah

Al-safiyah: A meeting in Al-Safiyah District of the Capital Secretariat, chaired by Secretariat Undersecretary Mazen Noman, discussed preparations for commemorating the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. The discussion focused on the executive plan for Mawlid events and activities at government offices and within the community. Task allocation and measures to ensure the success of the celebrations were key points of the meeting.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting also addressed mechanisms for implementation and follow-up. There was an emphasis on intensifying official and community efforts to implement cultural, social, and service programs. These initiatives are planned to take place across the district's neighborhoods, mosques, and schools and aim to promote the values and virtues of the Prophet Muhammad.

Noman highlighted the importance of broad participation in organizing the celebrations. He emphasized maintaining cleanliness, decorating public spaces, and promoting social solidarity and cooperation. Noman noted that commemorating the Prophet's birthday reflects Yemenis' love and faith in the Prophet, their commitment to his teachings, and strengthens their religious identity. It also signifies their support for Gaza, the Palestinians, and wider Arab and Islamic causes.

District Director Saleh Al-Maisari stated that preparations were underway. This includes forming a joint operations room to oversee events, charitable and solidarity initiatives, and cleanliness and decoration campaigns across the district.
