Hajjah: Martyr Abu Abdal Team won the Mawlid Football Championship held in Hajjah City. The team secured the title after a competitive match against Al-Hilal Al-Ahmar, concluding with a 2-1 victory in the final round of the tournament.
According to Yemen News Agency, the tournament was organized by the Youth and Sports Branch and supervised by the Governorate Youth and Sports Office. The final match saw Al-Hilal Al-Ahmar take an early lead with a goal by Hashem Dookal before halftime. However, Martyr Abu Abdal Team equalized in the second half with a penalty kick successfully converted by Fadl Ataba. The match-winning goal was scored by Musfar Raziq, sealing the victory for Martyr Abu Abdal.
At the conclusion of the match, trophies and medals were awarded to both the champion and the runner-up teams, recognizing their achievements in the championship.
