Preparations Underway for Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday Event in Dhamar

Dhamar: An expanded meeting in Dhamar Governorate, chaired by Deputy Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water Adel Bader, who heads the Presidential Supervisory Committee for the central event marking the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, discussed preparations for the central event in the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, attended by Deputy Governors Mohammed Abdulrazzaq and Mahmoud Al-Jubain, Mobilization Official Ahmed Al-Dhorani, Security Director Brig. Gen. Ahmed Al-Mahdi, and executive office directors, reviewed preparations for the occasion, field mobilization plans, and coordination mechanisms among relevant authorities to ensure the success of the mobilization plan for the central event. Participants approved the formation of mobilization committees at the district level and a timetable, stressing the importance of coordination and integration with community groups to unify efforts, ensure the success of the mobilization plan, and organize activities reflecting the significance of the occasion to the Yemeni people.

Deputy Minister Bader described commemorating the Prophet's birthday as a unifying occasion during which the nation recalls the life of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, his family, and the values of guidance, mercy, justice, and responsibility embodied in his message. He called on the people of Dhamar to make the occasion an opportunity to strengthen awareness and uphold the values and principles brought by the Prophet.

Al-Dhorani, speaking at the meeting, highlighted that commemorating the Prophet's birthday is among the foremost events reflecting the Prophet's esteemed place in the hearts of the governorate's residents. He noted that broad popular participation in the occasion demonstrates the community's authenticity and adherence to its values and principles, urging concerted efforts to ensure the success of the commemoration program in a manner befitting the occasion and the status of the Prophet.

Meanwhile, a meeting in Al-Hada District, also chaired by Deputy Minister Bader, discussed preparations for the central event marking the Prophet's birthday. During the meeting, attended by additional officials including Supreme Court member Judge Dr. Mohammed Al-Dailami and Shura Council members, Bader stressed the importance of field visits by mobilization committees at the local and village levels and strengthening the role of sheikhs and community leaders in mobilizing for the central event.

Judge Al-Dailami noted that the people of Al-Hada District represent a model of initiative and community participation, urging everyone to contribute to the success of the mobilization plan, ensure active participation by Al-Hada residents, and organize an event befitting the occasion. Al-Dhorani emphasized the importance of broad participation by Al-Hada residents in commemorating the anniversary, highlighting cooperation and coordination to complete preparations for participation in the central event and expressing joy and celebration on the occasion.

Earlier, Deputy Minister Bader inspected the power generation station in Bani Hayyan area and directed the assignment of a technical team to assess its readiness, affirming the ministry's commitment to restoring the station to operation in the coming period. He was accompanied by General Electricity Corporation Director General Dr. Mishal Al-Reefi, Dr. Abdullah Al-Buhaisi, a guest from the State of Palestine, as well as several executive office directors, local, executive and mobilization officials, members of mobilization committees, sheikhs and community leaders from Al-Hada District.
