Preparations Underway in Ibb Governorate to Welcome Eid al-Fitr Visitors

Al-dhale: A meeting in Ibb Governorate, chaired by Governor Abdulwahid Salah, discussed the ongoing preparations to equip gardens and parks in the governorate, in preparation for welcoming visitors during the blessed Eid al-Fitr holiday. The meeting, which included the Director of Tourism in the governorate, Ghanem Awsaj, the Director of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, Adel Omar, the Traffic Police Colonel, Mohammed Atef, and a number of garden, park, and tourist facility owners, touched upon the plans for preparation and readiness to welcome visitors and arrivals to the governorate during the Eid holiday.

According to Yemen News Agency, those present approved the assignment of a field team from the Tourism Office to conduct visits during the Eid days, to ensure the extent of gardens, parks, and tourist facilities' commitment to applying the regulations and procedures governing their work. In the meeting, Governor Salah stressed the necessity of increasing the pace of work and improving the level of services provided, to contribute to creating a suitable atmosphere for citizens to spend the Eid holiday.

He pointed to the importance of intensifying efforts and working as one team to improve the general appearance of the governorate capital, enhance the level of cleanliness, and preserve the environment, especially during the Eid days, which witness density in movement and activity. The Governor stressed the necessity of completing the equipping of tourist resorts, and raising the level of community awareness about the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of gardens, parks, and their contents, as they are public places for all citizens.

He explained that the local authority is keen to enhance partnership with the private sector and provide necessary facilities to improve tourism services, reflecting the civilized image of the governorate and meeting the aspirations of visitors during the Eid holiday. Governor Salah urged garden and park owners and proprietors to pay attention to security and safety procedures, maintain cleanliness and general appearance, and facilitate citizens' access to services.

For his part, the Director of the Tourism Office reviewed the general plan for equipping gardens and parks, which includes improving the level of services provided to visitors, and implementing expansion works at the Ibb City tourist resort. Ghanem Awsaj pointed to the readiness of public and private gardens and parks to welcome visitors during the Eid days, with continued coordination with security agencies and relevant authorities to provide a suitable and safe atmosphere.

In turn, the Director of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund reviewed the Fund's plan to welcome Eid al-Fitr, which focuses on doubling field efforts and raising the level of performance. Adel Omar explained that the plan includes increasing working hours in markets, streets, and public places that witness density in commercial activities, contributing to maintaining public cleanliness.
