Sana'a: A meeting of the preparatory committee for the central event marking the birth anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed was held in Sana'a on Tuesday at Sabeen Square.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was chaired by Ali Al-Saqqaf, Deputy Head of the General Authority for Zakat and the official in charge of the venue. It focused on discussing preparations and arrangements already completed at Sabeen Square in accordance with the established timeline. Additionally, the meeting explored ways to finalize the remaining preparations and site arrangements for the commemorative event scheduled for Rabi' Al-Awwal 12.
The meeting saw participation from heads of various committees, including technical, security, media, reception, and health. Coordination mechanisms among these committees were addressed to ensure the completion of preparations and the organization of the venue to accommodate the large crowds expected from different districts of the capital Sana'a and other governorates.
Al-Saqqaf emphasized the importance of concerted efforts and teamwork to complete the required arrangements in line with the approved plan. He noted that commemorating the birth anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, reflects the strong bond with the Noble Messenger and the drawing of lessons and guidance from his exemplary life.
